Snorkeling Chania (Crete), Mykonos or Rhodes

We will be visiting the Greek Islands this coming year and are interested in snorkeling somewhere.  We do not have any excursions planned in Chania (Crete), Mykonos or Rhodes.  Any one have any experience snorkeling in any of these locations and have any suggestions on companies to use?

We too love to snorkel but we find Greece is more just about the beaches and swimming.   Also time of year is an important consideration if it is warm enough to swim.

What do you know about Crete in May? Warm enough? Any potential snorkel sites?

The only snorkel site I know is over by Elounda many hours from Chania, where there is part of a city that is underwater.   It wasn’t as impressive as it sounds.  Water may still be cool,  weather should be good.
