Yelapa from PV Cruise Port?

Ok, this seems like information I should be able to find on my own, but it's proven harder than I'd expect.  I'm sorry if this is obvious somewhere, but I do hope someone can help me! 🙂 

 

So, I have two questions:  First, can you get a water taxi to Yelapa from somewhere close to the cruise port or do you absolutely have to get to the Los Muertos pier?  I thought I remembered they go from somewhere else, but I can't find it anywhere? 

 

Second, I saw somewhere someone said to allow 5-6 hours of travel time for to-from Yelapa, but I also saw it's a 30-40 minute trip.  Can someone give me an accurate estimate?

As far as I know watercabs to Yelapa only go from indeed the pier in old town as well as from Boca de Tomatlan which is more outside of Puerto Vallarta. Getting to the pier will take at least 20 minutes or more depending traffic.
