GCBCKat57 Posted February 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2006 I absolutely love St. Martin...have done the Eastern route on Explorer of the Seas twice. I love the contrast between the French and Dutch sides...though l prefer the French side. So many beaches, great food in Grand Case, the open market in Marigot, the planes overhead on Maho Beach, and the fun atmosphere on Orient Beach. We've also really enjoyed St. Thomas. But, San Juan and Nassau don't do much for me. I'm doing the Southern Carib in April and just have a feeling that I'm going to prefer this itineray. It has St. Martin and St. Thomas, but I'm also really excited about the other three ports as well, St. Lucia in particular. Whatever you decide...enjoy!! Jeepers385 Posted February 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2006 Hmmm, I would probably go for the southern because of Aruba. Love Eagle Beach, calm waters, chairs or tiki type of umbrellas, place to eat & drink and bus takes you right there, also love Carlos & Charlies at night. When we've done Eastern & Southern they both went to St Thomas & St Martens so that was a plus because we love both those ports. Debbie
hstrybuf Posted February 6, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2006 I like the southern route. Aruba, Curacao, St. Lucia. Enjoyed them all!
