Addo Elephant Park-excellent guide

On Feb 2 Azamara Quest was at Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  We booked an all day tour of Addo Elephant Park with Alan Tours(marketing@alantours.co.za).  They were very nice to deal with from beginning to end.  We met our guide, Merwyn on the Pier.  There were four of us in the air conditioned van.  It took about half an hour to get to the Park.  Merwyn gave us a wealth of information about the flora and the animals we were likely to see.  He provided the perfect tour where we saw many animals—herds of elephant, zebras, kudu, hartebeest, dung beetles, four lions, warthogs and the Cape Buffalo.  We learned about some interesting plants.  He was an excellent driver and at no time did we feel that we were in jeopardy.  We stopped for lunch at a nice restaurant in the middle of the park, which was included in the tour as was the park entrance fee.  We are well traveled and have hired many guides.  Merwyn was absolutely one of the best!!!  We recommend Alan Tours without hesitation. Five stars!

We used Alan Tours Last year and recommended them to friends who used them just last week. Our group had 2 vehichles.  Angelica Alan handles the bookings and she is excellent to deal with.
