I'd extend those dates to late November/early December after the 'rainy' season is over.  When the dry season begins the humidity and temperatures go down and the water recedes into watering holes that attract lots of wildlife to make viewing much easier and more comfortable.  Plus the mosquitoes don't eat you up!
