Anyone that has been on the Sky, can you tell me if the fitness center is open 24 hours?

If it is not, what time does it open?

As I recall it was open all the time. It was very WARM every day and we were Sailing from  Rome to Ft. Lauderdale a TA so I was surprised that the gym was so toasty. But, the machines were wonderful, never had to wait for a treadmill or other equipment. Very clean, well done by a gentleman who seemed to come by and spray the machines every hour or so. Large area for classes and lots of work out area.

We were on last month and it was open 24hrs. The treadmills/bikes are not set up yet with TV, so you'll have to bring your own entertainment if you like to exercise that way.

Being located over the buffet seating area & not over cabins like on other Princess ships it’s not necessary to close. Like the other posts about the Sky it never showed any limited hours.  

 

Sorry to read that the cardio machines entertainment system is still inoperable.  An Ocean Navigator supervisor said they were aware of the problem (compatibility issues between MedallionClass & the machines) which would be fixed when the ship was in the US...nearly 3 months later the incompatibility problem still exists. 😟
