Amazing review, thank you so much.  My husband and I are a similar demographic to you and your wife (although our kids are older at 19 and 15), so it was great to see a review from a like-minded traveler 🙂 

 

We've glanced at HAL before but never really looked in depth.  When the world returns to normal (or whatever the "new" normal will be) I might have to take another look 🙂

Thank you. The first time I sailed on HAL (when I was in my 30’s) I thought that it would be a very long time before I considered sailing on them again. Too sedate for my taste, and I really couldn’t appreciate their product. 7 years later, now in my 40’s, a cruise on HAL was the right fit. I think it’s a good option for people

looking for a bit more upscale experience over (Royal, Carnival, Norwegian, etc), without having to pay substantially more for it.
