The Ocean Players Club is introducing Texas Hold'em Poker on our member ships, featuring Low Limit Hold'Em.

 

Complimentary lessons are available for new players and on some select ships a fun poker tournament is held.

The Glory did have the Texas Holdem Table (1)

At anytime there was atleast 10 to 20 people on a waiting list.

 

Most people would get on.. and would stay on for hours..

 

We had a group of 45 people and at any given time we had

6 to 8 of our own people at the table..

 

We also brought our own chips and played many 20 to 30 person

tourns upstairs by the fish and chip area on the Glory...

 

LOTS OF FUN!!!!

 

The table is $2.00 $5.00 blinds and 5-10 limit... Most ran it to the river card. Lots of chasers!!!!! But our people made lots of money.

One took over 1000.00 home!!!

Didnt see the Holiday listed ... any idea if Texas Hold Em will be coming to the Holiday anytime soon?

the 5 ships at the bottom of the list are coming soon.... But it seems to be sweeping over very fast so who knows it may not be to long before its on all the ships. One could only hope...lol:D

The Pride had their games back in Oct. they had 3 tables. Had lots of fun watching the games, One of our CC Group members was in the Tournament :)

PARADISE HAS TEXAS HOLDE-EM:confused:

I was on Paradise 7-04-05 and there was no Texas Hold-em or any cards Room:mad:

Did this ship Dry docked after my sail date and get a Poker room built:confused:

Leaving on the Victory this Sunday.....unfortunately no Hold-em is set up yet on this ship...read a GREAT idea on another board----bring my own chips....and get a game(s) going on the Lido deck---sunshine/fresh air----and NO HOUSE RAKE!

That is what we do.. We split our chips up so each person carries 100

bring cards, We either sit in the back of the ship on the lido deck, or go up stairs in the back of the buffet area.. Some ships have the fish and chips up there!!

 

Lots of fun.. We do either a 10.00 buy in per person or a open buy in of 100.00

 

We feel we would rather play among our selves, then have others take our money. lol

Glad to see cruiseships getting into to hold-em craze. However they all seem to have a limit. Does anybody know if any ships do No-limit texas Hold-em. My b/f would love that. He says he will go on any cruise that has a no-limit table.

Im going on the Carnival Spirit in August. How many holdem tables are on the Spirit and do you think there will be long waits for the tables?

I would expect wait lines on any ship as they will not have many tables due to space.
