mlewing Posted May 7, 2020 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2020 Hello, Are there any organized scavenger hunts on Bermuda or are they just DIY? Also, other than renting a scooter, what's the best way to reach (all) the parishes on the island? Thanks

They have a good public transportation system To get around on.. Buses and ferries. There are also taxis. There are two seat electric mini cars available to rent. I don’t recommend the scooters. The roads are narrow and curvy, congested and no shoulders. They drive on the other side of the road as in the US. An accident will ruin your whole vacation. brzymom Posted August 7, 2020 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2020 The bus and ferry system are really good and you can get a pass that covers both for one day or multiple days. If you use them consistently, this is the most reasonable option. I've rented scooters and the Twizy (electric car that seats two). A lot of people are nervous on the scooters, coupled with left side of the road driving--it can be a tough go, The Twizy is great. And popular--if you want one--book early!! They are treated like a vehicle on the road, easy to operate (just like a golf cart) and a great way to get around and see everything. There are plenty of charging stations around the island. Room for two--sitting one behind the other, and room for beach things as well. Such a fun ride and easy to chat with your passenger while driving around.
