smeck Posted May 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2020 (edited) I find it very disturbing that Royal is putting dollars ahead of getting crew members onboard board home. Royals CEO stating it’s to expensive to get them home, meanwhile his bank account has bloomed by at least 25 million dollars over the course of the past three years. You're right, they should pull into the nearest post and buy a first class ticket home for each of them. Of course if I were a shareholder I may object to that. And realistically they're not RCL employees in the first place, they're contract workers who should be aware of what a life at sea can be. If you thought about the number of people who had to be accomodated and the logistics involved you would come to realize the difficult logistics of all of this. I have more empathy for the RCL employees that were let go.
