schnapperin Posted August 3, 2020 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2020 Guess from now on passengers will need to show the second negative test results before allowing to board - an American passenger apparently had a negative test result when entering but was positive after the required 4 day test. According to official statements a passenger testet positive 4 days after arrival (as requested) after having a negative Covid19 Test when passing custom, which was also an requirement from PG. Also the ship spend the last days on sea snorkeling and not visiting any places - but not sure about that. So far Ponant/PG had the strictest requirements before bording and everyone joining a cruises these days should be aware of a certain risk. Since Ponant is only running new cruises, the circumstances were also known when booking. Thats the thing that you might never even know that you or anyone else around you carries it. At the same time there might either no symptoms or mild symptoms that might not even look like Covid. Say mild cough, a slight change in the body temperature and etc.
