I don’t believe there are sailings specific to ECHO, rather they are similar to Elite benefits applied to any cruise. 

I have a friend who is ECHO and she says there are definitely some ECHO sailings where they have more ECHO customers on board than they would with elite.  I want to say she said there was a celebration sailing or something like that for new ECHO members.  I honestly can't remember.  I was more interested that they flew her in for the cruise.  That I remember clearly.  With flights being more and more expensive and them nickel and diming you for every little thing, I have gotten to where I do not like flying.  

BTW, I had heard the same as what you said about premier and ultras being packed, so that is one reason I do not book those.  Although with ultra, it seems if they had their old program where they gave bigger gifts to all attendees then I might would consider it.  For now, the free suite, 1,000 in free play has been my go to.  

Going on my first Elite in two weeks out of Miami.

Anyone else please feel free to chime in, it seems to me that if I bet lower amounts I get more kickbacks which can keep me playing longer but it takes many hours daily to accumulate the points where as if I do bigger bets $5-$50 per spin I'm "buying" points more quickly, but less total points over the coarse of the week. I have a friend that says he spends roughly $6K to gain 25K points on a week long cruise but does the lower bets only and is in the casino 6+hrs daily.

Not exactly sure how many hours or points are required to qualify for ECHO, never seen it posted anywhere.

Stupid question for anyone that has sailed on an ECHO offer...

1) They give you free Social WiFi, does anyone know if they'd allow you to upgrade to the higher level and only pay the difference?

Yes it's offered in the app when you're activating.

I sailed on Elite offer recently, which comes with Social internet plan. I was able to upgrade to Premium for $7/day. Value is also available for $5/day
