hallasm Posted March 19, 2021 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2021 (edited) .... and the not so good news: Iceland is on high alert for a possible volcano eruption on the south-western peninsula near the capital Reykjavik. More than 20,000 earthquakes have occurred in recent weeks in an area that hasn't seen volcanic activity for the past 800 years. Just when we finally got some good news about Iceland opening, we have to hear about the place potentially blowing up. We had been reading about the cracks appearing in the area of the thermal power station near Reykjavik and it is quite worrisome.
