Argostoli - things to do/see

We will be traveling to Argostoli for the first time and would like some information on what there is to see and do there? Thanks.

Try searching the boards, this has been discussed before,   We like the beaches and the underground lake.

Our last trip fall trip before covid included time on Kefelonia.  We loved it..so much we stayed for 10 days instead of a week.

 

Argostoli is nice but it will not take you long to see the town.  Don't miss the sea turtles by the fishing boats.     IMHO it would be an ideal place to rent a car and tour the island independently. Roads are good and there are some beautiful sights.
