Regarding Seasick meds the most common drug (often dispensed on ships) is Meclizine Hcl which is sold in the USA (over-the-counter) as a generic (just ask a pharmacist) or often under the brand name Bonine or Dramamine Non-Drowsy. A stronger drug (available by prescription) are the Transderm Scop patches (these can have some weird side effects). Other folks swear by Sea Bands.
