Beach Recommendations in Rhodes

Boarding the NCL Jade on 8/8/21 with a port day in Rhodes from 8-5pm. Planning on touring old town on are own. Would love to find a nice beach area for lunch and to enjoy some time in the water.  I know there is a beach super close to the port to walk to. Any other beach recommendations we can take a taxi to enjoy for a couple of hours?  Big plus if there are lounge chairs and umbrellas we can get access to.

We did exactly that,  took a taxi for well under 20 euros, took the bus back.
Faliraki beach, the far end.

I am interested in going there in June for the first time. So I would locate a taxi at the port to get us there but how would I know where to catch the bus from this beach, and how much is it to get back to port?  It looks like there is a place at this beach for drinks. Can you tell me if lunch is an option there? Also, does it cost to get on this beach, and to use the lounge chairs?

Our taxi dropped us at this place,   We had a lovely lunch as well and there were beach chairs directly in front.  Usually if you eat there is no charge but I would ask first.  We saw the buses coming along the main road,  and there was a marked stop just behind the restaurant.  You could just ask locally when you’re there.  It was only a few euros back.   We enjoyed a pleasant lunch.  Hope you have a nice visit.
