Pudgesmom Posted August 7, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2021 Yesterday, at the NCLH earnings call, Norwegian executives said that they would start each of their 28 ships at 60-70% capacity and then increase by 20% each subsequent month to 100%. I’ll enjoy this on my cruise, which is in the first month of return to sailing. We love an empty ship! I’m curious to know how they would handle any ships which were pre-booked above the 70% start-up capacity. Does anyone have information on this? bluestocking7 Posted August 7, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2021 I'm curious to know this as well. Interesting that they have hired Dr. Scott Gottlieb as a consultant, and that the ships will have "ICU level" medical facilities. https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/NCL-vaccine-mandate-is-a-competitive-advantage
