Interior Cabins

It depends on many factors.  Do you like to be close to an elevator?  Do you get motion sickness?  Do you prefer to be close to Lido deck, the dining room, the casino?  What is your itinerary?  Look closely at the deck plans and see where you would like to be situated.  Basically, all interior cabins are the same as far as layout.  Your biggest concern is location.

Can anyone give me helpful tips in picking an interior on the Constellation?

Generally speaking I would try for deck 7 or 8 midships or forward (if you are not bothered by the motion that might be experienced in a forward stateroom.)  These decks each have one lonesome interior stateroom at the far aft of the ship which I would not rule out either as I am not bothered by a few extra steps to the elevators/stairways and I don't mind the ocean motion.  These decks are just two or three flights down from the pools and oceanview cafe and just two or three flights up from the other dining venues and lounges.
