Question about Zuiderdam

We are thinking of trying Holland America. We are interested in an SS suite which looks to be right under the Lido area. We were just wondering if those of you that have stayed in those cabins have noticed a lot of noise?? Thanks for your help.

We were in 8090-92-94, and never heard a peep. Friends in 8135 (far aft, Starboard side) complained of deck chairs being shifted when they washed the decks (but they were leaving their verandah door open all night, so perhaps that is why they could hear it).

The SS rooms are beautiful and spacious, you will adore them!:D

One time on the Prinsendam our SS was under the forward portion of the lido pool area. A couple of times we heard chairs being moved constantly for about an hour. They were cleaning the deck. Other than that, nothing.

 

HAL's SS cabins are truly spacious and very comfortable.
