Monster Jeep & Mayan Ruins excursion in Cozumel

Has anyone done this excursion? The description says to wear comfortable walking shoes - not sure if that means closed toe shoes, as I know some of these driving excursions require them? It also says to bring a change of clothes...is this something where we're likely to get muddy?
