Royal Caribbean still doing formal nights?

Just sailed on Oasis Oct 3rd for 7 nights. We had two “Wear Your Best” nights. Many people dressed up, but not as formal as in the past. During this cruise, they were allowing shorts and t-shirts at dinner. Was told they were happy to have people onboard again and weren’t enforcing their own dress code. Brought down the dining room experience for us as we like to dress nicer for dinner.

I believe that many of this ships are still closing the Windjammer for dinner - maybe this has something to do with relaxing the standards?

Dress Your Best was a thing before COVID and some ships even experimented with getting rid of formal nights… so it was something in the works for a while now ever since Quantum of the Seas came out.

Sailing on the Oasis later this month, due to Covid restrictions are they doing formal nights?  Just want to pack accordingly.  Thank you.

Covid restrictions have nothing to do with RCL's current dress code policy.  What used to be "formal nights" is now just dressy nights.
