Does diamond or suite passengers still get early check in or have a assigned time.

Passengers in suites still board first.

Diamond/platinum passengers have an assigned "arrival appointment" time.   They are allowed an "early" online check-in window, which will allow them to get an early arrival appointment (if they want one). 

We are Platinum and for all 4 of our recent cruises, we have been assigned the earliest arrival appointment (time varied by port, but corresponded with A01 boarding zone, which boards right after the passengers in suites).

Since diamonds and plats can do their online check in two days before everyone else, they have their pick of arrival appointments.  If you select an early arrival appointment, you will receive a low boarding group, which means you will be on the ship earlier.  As of right now, only suite passengers receive priority boarding.

We boarded in Baltimore last week. As people lined up to get into the terminal, they call out times, 11:30, 12:00 as so on. As they were calling times, it was also called that anyone with a suite can board now. Seems many didn't know this as when it was announced they all made a mad dash for entry.
