SWACK Posted January 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2022 Anyone done this? We want to do both, but there is no excursion that does both, and it seems the only Lua's available on the Ruby's cruise are on this island? Thinking of a bus to/from Pearl Harbor, then the Lua, depending in the timing.
CruiserBruce Posted January 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2022 What time is the Ruby in port? Given the normal scheduling for luaus, taking the ship's excursion to one is most likely the best way to do it.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted January 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) Assuming you are hitting all the islands, I would do a luau on Maui, either Old Lahaina Luau or The Feast at Lele. You want to do Pearl Harbor as early as possible in the morning before the harbor gets choppy. The afternoon boats are often canceled because of wind wave chop in the harbor. SWACK Posted January 7, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Yep, but the only night visit and the only Luau's are on Oahu...
KeepCalmBearOn Posted January 7, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Then go to the Nutridge Experience. It is in urban Honolulu, not far from the cruise terminal.
