Excursions booked for other than Viking tours?

We are considering a tour in Malaga to Alhambra Palace when we are there on April 10.  Are there others also booking these "outside" tours? Does anyone know if Viking is allowing us to go outside the "Viking bubble" and to take these tours since they are not offering this as an excursion?

Go to your roll call to organize private tours. We were on Viking ship n Oct. stopping in Spain. Spain was open at that time , we did not have to stay in bubble in Spain .
Many years ago some on my roll call on Celebrity organized this same excursion through  Spain Day tours. We had 20 people  . Very long day but well worth it. Guide was amazing. At site   you get a guide for the palace  and grounds. 
make sure you are in port all day long . It is about. a hour and half bus ride each way from Malaga .

I would suggest that you book and pay for outside tours with caution during Covid times.  These things can change at a moments notice.  Some countries only allow the bubble excursions right now and others are allowing self exploration.  If Viking do not offer the excursion you want and the only option is an outside tour guide, then if bubbles are in effect in that country/port, you won't be able to go.  Make sure you have a cash back option with the outside tour operator.

Here's what we did on our January '22 Venus cruise where there was a lot of uncertainty until just a few weeks before sailing about whether we could tour independently or would be required to stay within the "Viking bubble."  Viking excursions can sell out fairly quickly.  Therefore, when Viking opened booking of excursions for our cabin class, we booked both the free included and several optional (cost $$) excursions we wanted through Viking, knowing we could cancel and get a full refund up to 48 hours before the excursion. We also booked some private tours that allowed free cancellation up to 24-48 hours before the excursion.  When we found out that we had to stay in the Viking bubble, we cancelled the private excursions, and still had the Viking excursions.
