Ncl Dubai-Athens 2023

How are the Middle Eastern Countries ( Dubai,Egypt,etc)  attitudes towards gay couples?   Its not like I'm going to hold hands with my partner in public. Never had any problems anywhere, but just curious.  I assume NCL will still have the Friends Of Dorothy meet ups during the cruise.

We sailed Dubai to Singapore on RCCL Spectrum of the Seas. Spent 3 days in Dubai pre-cruise and had absolutely no issues at all. I was actually worried as we booked a single bed in Queen Mary Hotel but it wasn't an issue at all and we were even upgraded to a suite! We enjoyed walking around Dubai, the Hop on/Hop off Bus and never felt it was an issue or there was anything to worry about. I don't think I'd go back but we enjoyed the 3 days there.

thank you.  we are thinking of staying on the QE2 in Dubai.  We once had a trans atlantic crossing on that ship, so thought it would be fun to stay on it again.
