Can anyone help. we are going on the explorer and we are wondering what type of sockets do they have on decks (9) and (5). thanks in advance

I think US and north Europe you definitely need adaptors

Many thanks so it has both in each cabin. Do they have USB points too. 

Any guidance on ease of using an extension cable. That's what we have done on other cruises

We were in balcony cabin on deck 9 and it did not have any USB charging points.

I believe that usb points are only in the junior suites and above. 
We always take a multi socket extension lead with us no problems.😉
