Positive Embark Test - Quarantine.

Anybody out there who has tested positive on embarkation lately and has had to quarantine?  Would like to hear your experience, especially as regarding finances. My particular situation would be a booked cruise on NCL out of NYC.  (Canada/New England)  The threat of a Manhattan hotel room for 10 days is not a pleasant thought. I soon have to make full payment if I am going. Also interested if there is any insurance that would cover quarantine. Thanks in advance

NCL does not test at the ship, you have to provide your own so you will know before you leave if you are good. Or do you intend to go down early and get tested there?
