Golf Cart Rental Info (Recent)

We want to rent a golf cart for the day.  I've tried to book Wet Money but it shows they are sold out.  I called Tony's and he said that their are about 10 companies right at the port.  Just walk up to one of them and rent.  Can anyone verify this for me?  I'd really like to book in advance but can't find what companies are at the port.  I've been on the port page but it doesn't have the companies.  Has anyone just rented once they get there?  If so, how was your experience?  Quick?  Long lines?   etc.   Thanks for the info!!!

just jumped on the boards to ask this very same question.

Got the same response from Wet Money and Tony's.

We rented from Nathan about 12 years ago,

I see mentions of him on tourist websites,

but he must not have his own...if I recall,

it was just emails back and forth 12 years ago.

Hoping others have some experience to share

about walking to the exit of the cruise port and renting.

Would be interested in jeep rentals too.

Seems to be similar pricing...

Thanks to those that have recent experience!

We rented from Rascoes Rentals and had no issues.  He was just a guy in a third world country who saved up to buy a few golf carts, to make some money.  I'm pulling for him.  He doesn't have very many carts, though.

How much was it and was the cart in decent condition?

We basically paid $100 and were asked to put about $15 of gas in it at the end.   It was in decent condition, but had enough problems to make it fun.  🙂    It backfired a lot when I started it.  Rascoe was a nice guy with not a lot of money; I was glad to help.
