Canceling shore excursions

If you book a shore excursion pre-cruise, can you cancel? And if you can cancel, do you get a refund or shipboard credit ? Thank you.

If you cancel before the cruise..it will go back on your credit card. On board you can cancel 24 hours before the excursion and it goes against your tab... if you don't spend that..at the end of the cruise it goes back on your credit card... I am assuming you are not using OTC to book the excursion
