San Diego Hotels with shuttle to cruise port

Looking for a Nice Hotel in San Diego that has a shuttle to cruise port. Has anyone recently stayed in one that they liked? Thanks

There are, as frequently discussed here, about 8 hotels that are easy walking distance to the port, including just across the street. Many recommendations just down the board. We like Embassy Suites, which is about 6 blocks from the pier.

 

The airport is also very close to these hotels and the port...less than $20 cab, including tip.

I would stay at the SpringHill Suites Bayfront, Residence Inn Bayfront or InterContinental San Diego and walk across the street to the cruise terminal.

The Residence Inn is to the right, the cruise terminal to the left. The SpringHill Suites is the back half of the RI Bayfront. The InterContinental you can see the corner or it, just across the plaza from the RI Bayfront.

 

You can spin the map, zoom out, go to Street Level, etc.

We just did the Springhill Suites/Residence Inn (they are together).  Very nice rooms and hotel, fairly new.  Right across the street from the pier (2-300 yards) so no need for a shuttle.  

 

Rates not too bad - we paid a bit over $200 plus taxes, but this can vary alot.  Senior rate.
