Just returned from Alaska on Encore - positive COVID test

A friend and I just returned Sunday on the Encore from Alaska (lovely cruise, incredible scenery, awesome weather).  My friend wasn't feeling well yesterday and tested positive this AM for COVID.  I tested negative yesterday.  I hadn't heard of any cases onboard but wanted to give a heads up for anyone on the cruise.

Hope your friend feels better and you stay negative.  Did you notice other people coughing or sick?

Was the ship crowded?  Did anyone wear a mask?

The ship was about half capacity...2400 PAX, but full crew of 1700.  Maybe 10% -15% PAX wearing masks. All crew were masked, except when speaking/performing.  There were people coughing here and there but we just moved away from them.

Unfortunate to hear, but looks like this is going to be the world we live in moving forward.  Covid isn't going anywhere.
