Is 90 minutes between excursions enough time?

There are two excursions that I would like to book in the same day.

 

They are 90 minutes apart and I just want to make sure that is sufficient time just in case the first excursion runs a little late.

Apart from a malfunction of a tour bus or boat, or an extreme traffic problem (all of which can happen, but rarely do), returning too late for another excursion 90 min later would be very unlikely.

If both excursions are booked through Celebrity and you missed the 2nd b/c of a problem with the 1st returning on time then I don't see how they cannot refund you your money.

We have two booked very close together (one arrives 15 min before the second one leaves)- both vendors have assured me that we will be fine. Both start and end in the same place. So barring a major problem, we anticipate having no trouble. Also- since we will be in Alaska- it is very likely that the vendors will know each other so accommodations should be possible.
