Internet on Royal Alaska

any recent experience with the internet on Royal Alaska voyages? Will have to test onboard before debarkation.

It’s not great. We struggled with it on our recent cruise. It went from slow to non functional.

Just did 12 days on Royal in Alaska. The Internet service was what I expected from a cruise to Alaska: It was crap. Don't expect good Internet access on an Alaskan cruise. It will not happen.

On Royal right now. The internet speed on first day out of Vancouver is very slow. It’s ok for checking emails and web browsing. 
 

I grew up with dial-up modem and this speed is relatively fast compared to the old time.
