Alaska Inside Passage which side is best

Hi All,

I'm looking at the Alaska inside passage roundtrip from Seattle.  Wandering what side of the boat is best to get the balcony room in?  If I look at the map, it's looks like the Starboard side is best, but I'm seeing other state Port side since the boat turns around and is longer viewing on the Glaciers?  TIA.

If you are on any of the Royal class ships you won't do the Inside Passage. It doesn't matter that Princess sells the cruise as an Inside Passage cruise - the ship won't sail there. Also, if you sail out of Vancouver or Seattle it will be dark when you transit the Inside Passage even if you are on a ship that actually sails that route. You may see the scenery on the southbound route but not northbound.
