Using VPN on Rotterdam

Does anyone know if a VPN can be used on the Rotterdam internet? Really important for me to use in my business.

You might be out of luck.  The chat discussion linked below states that a user tried a number of VPNs on HAL's internet service and every VPN was blocked.

My experience has varied. In January, aboard the Zuiderdam, neither my VPN nor my AT&T Wi-Fi Calling feature worked. In the past month, aboard the Noordam and then the Nieuw Amsterdam, both worked.

The VPN we use (Nord) slows down the internet enough on land-based hotel Wifi's  that we didn't even try to use it on the Zuiderdam three years ago.  We just used the ship's Wifi and hoped for the best.

It has worked on some sailings for me and not for others.   More of a function of ships location than the ship.   If VPN is really important, I would make other plans.    I wouldn't go on a cruise if not having  internet would be a huge deal for work.   There isn't anyway to predict and no one will be able to guarantee success.
