Tried to send this last Saturday but lost it after a lot of typing. In Quebec again on way back and trying again, in 2 parts.

1st week 1100 passenger. 190 at Mariner cocktails for 3*+ includes 5 Presidets Club. 1 w/2500+ days. 

Wk 2 has 1046 passengers w/ 208 3*+ incl 5 Prea Club. 

Turn-around. No Testing. No anything. Easy!

21 cabins on Deck 6 aft available for quarantine. Only 1 in use as of day 3. Deck A or B has quarantine space for 60 crew. 

Mariner reception w/o lunch on sea day. 2 silvers awarded, 5*s name recog ized, photos of Pres Club members.

This is the last ship w/old tvs & dvd players. But bring your own. There are no dvds on board. 

Did not attend any shows in Main Showroom.

Ocean Bar & Piano Bar Entertainers, below a1verage. 

Classical Duo the best we've ever heard on a HAL Ship. They are on thru the VOV. 

Pinnacle Grill, below average. Rudi's above average. 

Lido & MDR good++

Thanks for the report. We will board Sat for the same B2B. This will be our third time and first since 2019 on Zaandam. Weather has been iffy? Usually good this time of year.

So you can't check out movies anymore? Sounds like they trashed the DVDs thinking new on demand coming and then cut back costs hit the upgrade plans.

Zaandam was scheduled for dry dock Spring 2020. Read just last week on the VOV Roll Call it’s now scheduled this coming winter ……maybe Jan or  February. I’m hoping for new flat screen TV’s & walk-in showers. Can’t stand the tub/showers. And more outlets & USB ports. It’s an entirely different world than 2000 when ship went into service.
