San Francisco Parking help!

Hi all are parking plan just fell through. We were suppose to be parking at a family’s house we’re driving up from LA. That plan just went out the window and we need to find long term parking. I’ve read you need reservations? I’m willing to booked a hotel if they have parking. Just don’t want to drive up and lots are full. 
Any suggestions will help. Oh we’re leaving In 2 days July 5th  Carnival Miracle Alaska and still waiting on Covid results.

When we drive up for a cruise we park at BART in Berkeley (North Berkeley Station) and take BART into the City.
