Sol y Mar Beach Club

Anyone done the All-Inclusive excursion to Sol Y Mar Beach Club through Carnival lately? We will be there 10/22. I’ve also heard sand fleas/bug bites are a major problem .. anyone have input? Comments/advice welcome. Thank you.

I was their last month n got all chewed up. Bring allot of bug spray. Hopefully by the time you cruise it's not to bad but believe me it blistered n scared in places on my arm. Everything else was very good!😊

Any beach on Roatan can have fleas/flies/no seeums on any given day. I would go armed appropriately and not make a decision on any one report.

 

Roatan is renowned for biting bugs. I am usually a magnet for bugs and consider myself fortunate not to have suffered too badly after my visits to various places, including Sol y Mar so far but i am sure it is only a matter of time,
