Xbox in stateroom for Oasis

Instead of taking an Xbox consider a handheld gaming console. It will fit nicely in the safe when not in use.

Playing Xbox Live or streaming games wouldn't be very fun with the very slow internet connection, but not all Xbox games need to be played online. Now, an Xbox is not a compact console (I know because there is quite a large Xbox X in my living room). I'm not sure if they're in the market for a new gaming system, but the Nintendo Switch is intended to be portable - it can be played as a handheld, or with friends on a television. I do not currently have a Nintendo Switch in my living room, but I've had friends bring their Switches over and we've used them on my TV. Thank you for a very informative post.  It would be nice if the HDMI ports on the Oasis are as accessible as the ones on the videos are.  While the internet may not be as useful for gaming because of ping issues as mentioned here, hooking up an ipad to the TV for watching movies seems reasonable.

Doubt it for the xbox.  they have those tvs locked down so the millions of idiots who are in those cabins every year down mess up the tv inputs.

 

Regarding the wifi, highly doubt it can handle online gaming.
