Another covid testing question

Hi everyone. 
In September we cruise from Vancouver on a Monday and have flights booked on the Sunday to spend overnight in Vancouver.  I know we need to have a covid test within 2 days of sailing. We were planning on getting one on arrival in Vancouver but would prefer to get one here on Ontario on the Saturday afternoon. (Just in case we are positive and we can isolate at home). If we had a test on the Saturday afternoon would you Interpret  that as within 2 days or are we cutting it a bit fine?
