Hello Everyone!!

We are super excited to be traveling on the Gem in a few weeks.  Does anyone know if there are formal nights and if they are still enforced?  We are wondering what to pack in terms of dining room clothing!!

Thanks!

NCL has a “Dress up or not” night”. It’s a night for those who wish to to dress up for a “night on the town”.Dinner, dancing, and a show maybe. Or just strolling around in their finery.

Some folks take the opportunity to have formal pictures done professionally. It used to be a time to have your picture taken with Officers, up to and including the Captain. However,  with Covid I don’t know if that is still occurring,

.   Again, it’s totally voluntary, not mandatory. Some will dress up, some won’t. Guess that’s why NCL calls it “freestyle cruising”!!
