Covid vaccination rules relaxed?

We are on Splendida next month. When I booked our trip, the website stated we needed to be fully vaccinated PLUS a booster. When I checked the website for updates (I’m praying they’ll nix the preboarding covid tests because I’m so stressed about finding a place in Italy to do them) it states we just need to be fully vaccinated and a booster is optional. Before I cancel our appointment to get boosters, I’m wondering if others are seeing the same thing. It’s my first MSC cruise and our 30th anniversary and I really want everything to be splendid. (See what I did there?   🙂. ). Thanks for your assistance.

Where did you see the booster requirement?  We are booked for the end of the month and I haven’t seen anything about a booster requirement.

It was on the website when we originally booked the cruise.
