IS THERE A TAXI STAND / Line at MENDENHALL ?

Cabs seem easier enough (despite some downright crappy reviews) to get in Juneau; likewise Uber.

Getting out seems fine, but I'll be out there late in the afternoon, and wonder how to hail a ride back.

 

Question: Aside from calling, is there a congregation spot for cabs at the glacier ?

There is always the method of letting the cab/uber driver who took you to Mendenhall to return

and pick you up. OR alerting other cab drivers of your return time.

While you are visiting that taxi/uber driver could in effect make 2-3 trips with other guests

instead of unproductive waiting for just one guest trip.
