avgsuperheroine Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 We will be on a 7 night cruise to several southern islands, and love to snorkel. I could gladly snorkel at every port stop and this itinerary is excellent for snorkeling. However, I've noticed the "land and sea" excursion seems to be very popular. It gets excellent reviews in facebook groups and on tour sites, and I'm wondering if this is our first and possibly last time in St. Lucia, which would you recommend I pick? So far I plan to snorkel in Grenada, Curacao, Aruba, and have one land excursion selected in St. Kitts.
reedprincess Posted August 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Ywa, a land/sea tour is much recommended, particularly if you'll not be coming back to St Lucia.. The Pitons, drive in volcano and so forth are unique in the Caribbean and well worth seeing. Snorkeling is wonderful, I love it also - but to be honest, the sights a d experiences on a land or land/sea trip here are much better than any snorkeling anywhere near the cruise port. The best snorkeling around the island is down by the Pitons anyways- and as you've stated, you're snorkeling invirtually every other port - so why not see and experiences something of the destination? Either way, enjoy..
