Spinnaker Lounge on NCL ships?

Last NCL cruise in 2018 on the Pearl. Boarding The Star next month & am looking high and low for the top of the ship lounge/bar coffee/tea sipping lounge on The Star. I think it was called The Spinnaker Lounge. Did a recent remodel remove that favorite place?

Not a recent remodel. It was done quite a while ago, but suites have been added on deck 12 where Spinnaker used to be.

 

For a while, what is now Bliss (on deck 7) was called Spinnaker, but it was very different from what you are thinking of (back of ship, low deck, no views).

To the best of my memory, the Pearl, Star, Gem have the Spinnaker Lounge. Sure hope it is still there.

All the Jewel class have Spinnaker, so Jade and Jewel as well. The Spirit also has one (was called Galaxy of the Stars previously).

 

Edit: I forgot the Sun and Sky, which I think both have Spinnaker (not been on them so don’t know from experience).

The lounge on Star and Dawn got replaced with suites 2010/2011 roughly.

 

Lounge is now aft and low with no windows.

Low and aft is never a good idea for a favorite place on a ship. 😕
