Since Maya Chan will be closed we're looking for another beach club. Has anyone visited 40 Canones lately? How was your experience? How much was a day pass? What did it include? Was it pay as you go or AI?

Look up Pez Quadro!   That's the beach club for the hotel, 40 Canones.  They used to have AI options.

It's in the middle of the malecon so not "secluded" like Maya Chan.  But the palapas do provide some shade.   The restaurant at the hotel is/was good and the beach club uses the same kitchen but I'm not sure if you can order off the hotel menu.
