Shuttles in Barcelona

Does anyone know if the shuttle buses in Barcelona are free or charged (I am not select booking). If they are charged, how much are they and how do you pay? We have previously been select booking and never had our passes checked so not sure how that works.

Hi janem2.

If you look at a previous topic on page 2 titled Barcelona Shuttle you will see some helpful responses from post #20 which shows a photo of the Horizon newsletter with details of the Barcelona shuttle service.

If you have to pay with P&O they will certainly be dearer than the Barcelona cruise shuttle "blue" bus which is cheaper and drops off very close to Las Ramblas by Christopher Columbus statue and is 4-50 Euros each return.

On our recent Arcadia cruise in Lisbon all passengers who took the shuttle had their cruise cards scanned by a P&O staff member before boarding the bus. Those on Select fare would not be charged while those on the saver fare would have the cost added to their on board account.

 

Not sure of the cost off hand as we were on a select fare. Could be between £2.50 and £5 per journey depending on the duration I'm guessing.
