oh look my friends are still around … waking to downtown and back… totally predictable and nothing new for me 😂   Have seen the beaches the fishes the ____.  I am trying to see how many duty free shops I can visit before I succumb to the perfume / cologne spray.

Its an easy walk for me I don’t mind it but if you have mobility issues I would recommend the taxi or the water taxi… they are running again.

Rain shower … I ducked into yet another duty free shop to stay dry.  I am not sure what the duty free shopping hype is all about … I have seen better prices on Amazon and it’s delivered to me at home 😂 … I am missing something

They are right outside the terminal on the rocks. These are small compared to some of the other ones I have seen.  I would say these are the medium sized ones.  Lol … next time!

We seem to be among the lucky Floridians. The storm has stayed well south of us and is staying south as it moves west to east. We had a couple of very brief power outages today but mostly our power and cable have been fine all day. We have has a lot of rain and strong wind gusts this evening. Sadly, some other parts of Florida have been less lucky and have had a great deal of damage. A lot of their damage has been from storm surge and flooding due to heavy rain.

St Thomas

 

Johnny Rockets Packed around 3PM … everyone had the same idea… I like the the cover charge is 11.99 and it includes a fountain beverage and pretty much anything you want on the menu … I could not get that at my Johnny Rockets at home.

Sadly I was told that we left 4 people behind in St Thomas… they didn’t make it back on time.  I guess Royal does not make announcements to call people like NCL.  On NCL they kept making announcements every 5 minutes and they stayed late waiting for people who obviously is not on an excursion.
