Cruise companion

Just looking for feedback on Carnivals cruise companion feature.  We will be cruising (2 of us) with another group (5) and read somewhere that the max was 6 in a cruise companion group?  The main thing we were looking to do was use it to be seated together at dinner but not sure if that's what it is intended for.

Just make sure all your groups bookings are linked together and you all will be seated together. This is for early or late seating, for YTD use the Hub app.

We had 8 in our group and no issues.  We had your time dining and I was able to reserve for all 8 in the App

We currently have 13 in our cruise companion group, with our booking numbers linked. I don't think there's a limit, but we may have to be seated at 2 tables near each other.
