We called very politely to ask if another room was available, since only 66% of the ship was full. No one was complaining about anything, and no it was of course not only one chair that was moved.

Can those who have sailed in a sunset veranda on EDGE or APEX comment on whether there is any roof coverage over the sunset balconies?  I love to sit outdoors on a real balcony but prefer to have a roof over my head so to not get much direct sun. Does it depend on which deck you choose, or which cabin on the deck? There are available cabins on every deck.

No, they're pretty much all the same---maybe 25% coverage.  You do realize that biggest factor for exposure is a combination of time of day and direction of travel?
